Default alarm installing ?

I just started puttin in my alarm, tonight I got the power, siren, and led light hooked up. But on the starter kill it says the wire running for it provides ground when the alarm is armed. Its a 5spd so I have the starter cut relay but wouldnt I want the ground for it when the alarm is disarmed, so it can complete the circuit and give power to the starter? I cant figure it out. Anyone know? thanks.

do not do a starter kill if your car is a manual trans because it can still be push started if they get the ignition on. take the relay you get with the alarm and use the ground out and put it too either pin 85 or 86 that should be either side pins that are parallel to each other. Feed the other pin to ingintion power and you are set all you need to do is cut a fuel wire or ignition and you connect 87a and 30 leave the top pin unused. make sure if you do ignition kill to put the feed wire on the key side so the relay works properly.
