Default Programing Viper Replacement Remote...?

Sup Everyone,

My wife lost the keys to her 2000 Honda Accord EX with it the remote to her Viper 5900 alarm. I was able to purchase a new remote on ebay, my question is can i program the remote myself, is there a site where i can access the instructions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Open the door, turn the ignition to on, press the valet button once and then hold it, the car will chirp, while holding the valet button press lock on the new remote.

Default Re: Programing Viper Replacement Remote...?

I received the replacement Remote Transmitter for the alarm today. However there's a discrepency, on the Viper 5900 Alarm Manual it states the number of times i need to press the program switch to delete all trasmitters is 14. However on the replacement remote it says I need to press the program 11 times to delete all transmitters. Because my remote was lost i want to make sure im erasing the transmitters correctly before programming the new remote.

Does anyone know the correct number of times i need to press the program 14 or 11?
