I put a Clifford 50.5x alarm system into my car and it's been working great. However the other day my remote ran completely out of batteries, and it wasn't till the next morning that I was able to put a new one in. The remote no longer communicates with the alarm, in the manual it says to press the lock button several times within close range of the system. I tried that and nothing, took out half of my interior to where I left the brain and pulled the plug, let it sit overnight, and still nothing.

Anyone had this happen or know how I can get this remote working again?

You have to re-learn the remote using the key and valet switch. Its in the manual..

find your valet switch. turn the ignition to the on position. press and release and then press and hold the button. the alarm should chirp. press the lock button on the remote and the alarm should chirp again. turn off ignition
