Re: Trent89's CRX Si B20 Y49
i actually drove it around the storage place the other day just for the hell of it. its been way too hot to even think about working on it. the idle is still really low but it never died on me. it sounded like it wanted too but i just feathered the gas and it never did die. when its not 11000 degrees here i will start messing with it again. my storage doesnt have any electrical outlets so i cant even put a fan in there.

this is what i have been working on lately. some standup seller here on hondatech sold me this "mint uncut" harness and this is what i found once i opened it up. this wasnt all of his "amazing" work either. im assuming this is why i could never get my car running right. also, he used different color wires running to sensors so im positive i didnt have the right plugs in the right sensors. i spent probably around 10 hours fixing all his fk-ups

Re: Trent89's CRX Si B20 Y49
time for a build thread update.
havent had much time to work on it in the last 2 months cause i was busy with school. ive now graduated and dont start my new job until the end of january so i pulled it out of storage yesterday and began to get it street legal again.
got my 91 gauge cluster conversion completed and all working properly. i got my front corner lamps and turn signals wired up properly and they are all working again. i need to raise the front coilovers about an inch cause its way too slammed in the front. the crank pulley hits the radius rod when i go over dips in the road thru a turn. then i need to get an alignment(dont know what specs to tell them.) i need to take it to an exhaust shop to have them modify my cat to fit my stock header and tanabe exhaust. i need to put my wiper motor back in and get those working again. i believe thats all i have left to do so i can pass inspection and get my car tagged and street legal. also forgot to mention that i scrapped the ebay obd0-1 conversion jumper and bought a rywire obd0-1 conversion.
and i also bought a set of 15x7 +45 silver regamasters for my graduation present to myself. cant decide if i want to do them matte black or just put them on as is. these wheels are ridiculously light at 9 lbs a piece.
big thanks to vanrij for helping me locate a ton of parts in the last few months!
i should have taken pictures after i got my front end put back together but it freezing cold and i was really hungry. just realized i need to loom up some more wires from my obd1 conversion near the firewall.
still like this engine shot from the summer. at this point i didnt know how much work still needed to be done lol

havent updated in a while. car is running great. switched out the front springs to 550 lb. car rides a lot better and the crank pulley is not hitting the radius rod when i hit big bumps anymore. just been enjoying it the way it is but im getting an itch for boost. here are some recent pics from a cruise a couple weeks ago.
