Default smoke during cold start

I'm sorta confused. I don't know If its from the rings/valve seals/valve steam, but during cold starts early In the morning (approx outside TEMP- high 60's/low 70's) I see little white/tint of blueish smoke until the car is warmed up then It doesn't smoke. The motor is a 98+ jdm ITR. Usually when the car is warmed up and I WOT at night I see smoke reflecting through cars head lights behind me, but I can't tell what color It is. Car Is currently tuned on crome with basic mods.

bad valve seals, rings, valve steam? PCV valve gone bad? car used to smell like It was running rich, but now It has a funky smell. The motor on a dry test got 225,225,225,225.

How would a leak down test tell you about valve seals? Actually I would like someone to explain how it tests oil rings.

sorry let me rephrase it.

1)IMO I think its your valve seals

2)You should do a leak down test

how f&%ked up his motor is!

leak down test tells you where you're losing compression and exactly how much..

well a compression test will tell you if there is a problem your compression is all even unless that test was a long time ago. a leak down is when you put a cap of oil in each cylinder and test again the oil temporarily seals the rings and can give you a better idea of where your problem lies. the best way to figure it out is to tear into it. if you look in your intake ports or exhaust ports and see oil on your valves then that will tell you your valve seals are bad. but with all even compression you probably dont have either problem. white smoke is coolant or moisture. It is normal to have a little white smoke at cold starts. the blue would be oil, are you going through any oil?? you need to have somone follow you and watch your exhaust and see whats really going on, also monitor your oil and coolant to see if you are losing any or if they are mixing you might have a bad head gasket

This a think question, not a right or wrong.

the valve seals expand as the motor gets warmer so it doesn't use up oil?
