Re: Significance of Flywheel teeth
The new OBX hyper light flywheels dont have any teeth, they said the lower weight is a 5 hp gain over toothed flywheels.

Re: Significance of Flywheel teeth
no teeth on the flywheel means not teeth turning the starter, which means you're not starting your car...before you call people ******** think about your question and the answers you got...that was a very dumb question and you got the same back

Re: Significance of Flywheel teeth
Hey man, Ill call people aholes when they give ahole answers.
Dont have anything to contribute, do bother. Why some flywheels have more or less teeth? Well I guess it doesnt matter, than, since apperantly the only issue is the where and how it connects with the starter.
For instance you get a flywheel with 121 teeth on it and the OEM flywheel has 119. Than that would change things?
Dont offer a GOD complex with me. Or act like you are doing me a favor by posting in this thread.

Theyre really just there to give it a mean fast look.. I'd just grind them off if I were you, the starter turns your intake manifold not the flywheel so I wouldnt worry to much. Takem off, less weight = faster.
