Icon3 Official All Motor stock block setup thread

I searched like crazy and haven't found a single thread close to this is. Come in and share your STOCK block set up with either strictly just bolt ons or stock block with built head.
Very curious to see what people are doing with stock block cars with just built heads or even just bolt ons. I am in the process of building the head on my b18c as a temporary setup until i drop a k20 in my car.
I will post my setup and stats as soon as its finished and dyno and i go to the track, next month.

All engines welcome: B,D,H,F & K

Post your :
-whp and tq numbers
-1/4 mile et and mph (also other 1/4 mile stats you have)
-description of the mods
-the chassis and also the weight of the vehicle if you know it.

sk2 ported pro series manifold 70mm tb
sk2 tuner 1 cams
sk2 alpha header
sk2 mega r 2.5'' catback

RC 310 injectors
sk2 unported! pro series manifold 70mm tb
aem 3'' cai

Not yet I'm so busy with projects and work i have no time its just sitting waiting for me to tune it lol I'm soooo anxious though! i know this should break 220 hp easy with the new upgrades. Im going to have the ATI Pro Charger supercharger installed but disconnect the charge pipe and do a dyne run N.A then ill connect the charge pipe to the intake and swap map sensors and do a final tune on 12-15 psi and compare those two N.A dynes to see what my gains were n.a as well as compare a old dyno i had on a very similar setup using a Jackson supercharger that made 285 hp on 12 psi. with my current boosted setup using 12 psi just to compare the two superchargers on a similar engine at around the same psi. The jackson is a roots style and this is a centrifugal supercharger I'm using now. The last time i dyno tuned the Pro charger setup on just 6 psi it made 275 hp and this was on the same type r engine that made 285 hp on 12 psi with the JRSC. So I'm sure with this new setup i have not only will it make great gains N.A but the pro charger is going to blow away the JRSC at the same psi level. So i have a All motor dyno to share soon as well as a Boosted dyno on the same engine to share with HT.

I think that was a yes or no question

I'll throw my last "stock" setup in the mix from 08

GSR block w/ B16 head, ITR cams, RMF narrow, Maxbore B16 TB, 3" SRI w/ vstack, WS2, 177whp 131tq @ speedfactory tuned on crome.
13.92 @ 99mph w/ a 2.0 60'
93 EX coupe full interior all options but a/c 2660lbs w/ me in (I'm 220)

I know it's a pain, but I'm sure we would all love it to death if you were able to put the old V1 alpha header on, and then replace it with the V2 so we could have a back-to-back dyno with the 2 Alpha headers.

I'm actually thinking the V1 might make more power.

always loved your car bro, love how you stuck with it and kept improving instead of getting a different car. your motor is very healthy, been good to you over the years haha. Annoying when people are constantly switching cars. Your old gsr that 216 was such a beast for such a simple setup wow, very impressive. I've had my 95 civic hatch since 2005 and will keep it till the day i die. Bought it bone stock, 1 owner car, it gets better with every year. thanks for sharing brotha

I think so too. But hoping the V2 works better with a supercharger as i didn't get it to use for all motor.

very nice, impressive bro. gsr block w/ a b16 head yields roughly ~11.5-12 compression ratio if i remember correctly? bigger aftermarket cams such as skunk 2 tuners 2's would have worked wonders on that setup, would have put you into the low 13s and around 190whp. the ws2 was def restricting you too

I don't think there is a better "name brand" header on the market for the price. If I could get my hands on a V1 I would dyno it against my RMF drag to see where it stands.

That setup was around 10:1 CR. 11.5:1 would have required some P30's for a GSR block and B16 head.

Search SoloDC into the 12s N/A Stock Block 1.8L. Some years back my DC2 made 205 Whp 134 Wtq (dynojet). This setup was a stock untouched USDM GSR block with 150K miles on it, milled B16 head, stock ports, DD-Tech stage 1 Cams on pump 93 gas. The car did a best of 12.7x @ 107 Mph on 22 inch slicks at 2400 pounds with driver. Super simple setup and very fun. I'd regularly beat up on built block B-series cars back then with this setup.

I see that you also mention stock block K setups OP?! My 05 Rsx with a bone stock K20z1 long block went 12.9x at 107.7 Mph on M/T drag radials. Weight was 2640 pounds with driver. Mods were OBX v1 2.25 inch collector race header, 850cc injectors, custom 3 inch intake with V-stack, port matched PRC intake manifold, stock T-body, k-tuned thermal gasket, Kpro tuned on e85. Made 226 Whp on a dynojet, and did 234 Whp on VP M5 Methanol with injectors maxed out at 8000 Rpms, never ran the car down 1/4 mile on the Meth yet. Very effect setup as well and definitely has more potential in general than a B series.
