Re: MSD A6 or what? (DEVIOUS_EF*)
ok to fill you all in on what a MSD 6 box does!
"The majority of stock ignition systems are inductive ignitions. In an inductuive ignition, the coil must store and step up the voltage to maximum stregth in between each firing. At higher RPM, since there is less time to charge the coil to full capacity, the voltage falls short of reaching maximum energy which results in a loss of power or top end miss." **** (here you go guys!)**** "The MSD ignition features a capacitor which is quickly charged (within one millisecond) with 460 - 480 volts and stores it untill the ignition is triggered. With the CD design, the voltage sent to the coil is always at full power even at high RPM." RESULTING in not having power loses in the higher end, and keeping the full horse power range.

SO you don't need to be a Drag car or turbo to have this work effectively for you. this will give you more power not matter if your car is stock or a Drag racer!

and yes your stock ignition will do fine, but not if you would like to maintain the power, and have better relaiblity in your engine!
So to shut down the case of everyone else who wasn't quite shure what the msd 6 boxes were for! and the info i got is straight from MSD Ignitions!
and Conernr1 the set up you got tonite will be a really nice addition to your car!
plus all of the parts just look sick! Have fun with it! and show it off!

Re: (xCIVICx)
ah but yes people like me are here searching for good info and find this thread.
Wil at Exospeed would be your next good source of information...told me that the stock would be fine...
on point, wouldn't you be testing the limits/reaching the limits on the stock ignition?

Yes but why reply to this thread to him the kidd out if he has already bought a set up! and of course stock setup is fine. it fines from the factory then its fine! you can say that about any car. But more just to get stuff right, just becuase someone works at a place doesn't mean they know ****! I could work at NASA and you could ask me a question and i could bull **** it untill bull **** came out of my ***, would you still believe me?! what i am trying to get at is... If you want real answers go straight for product reveiws and ask poeple who know, that maybe have one, or read it up from the company it self. asking a guy at a shop won't get you anywhere. (well it could but most of it is all under educated personal bias info)
