Low 13's to High 12's on a H22!
I have an H22 in a Civic Si. I am wondering what kind of parts I would need to make my car run low 13's or mid 12's on street tires? What kinda of parts and what would this cost? I am looking at an all motor set up, and full interior set up as well.

I ran a 12.8 on street tires, but my interior was gutted.

Get about 220-230 whp, some 700-900 lb rear springs, adjustable shocks, front traction bar, make it as light as you can w/o removing the interior you want, and some good drag radials at 15-20 psi and you can easily do it all motor.

Re: (ranta18)
i ran into a guy on prelude online. He ran an SMSP header, Random tech hi-flo cat, 2.5 exh piping, V2 intake and tuned with a VAFC and ran a 12.9 with 201 whp... go with a good header like smsp or RMF, 2.5 exh and a good intake. People will say stick with an ebay intake but between that and a V2 is about 3 or 4 whp which could be the difference between a high 12 and low 13... getting a good launch and knowing when to shift is a big factor too...

Try a H2B Kit. (h series motor to b series tranny) This kit in our race car with a completly stock block and head at 1775 lbs went high 11's . Our motor dynoed in at 205 whp and 154 tq. Gear ratio from the b tranny is key. I know that in our street civic it beat a 99 corvette and the vette ran a 13.1.
