About 6-7k + another 5k in my spare motor. Thank God I do all my own labor (except machine work)!
That does not count the $1000 for a Tilton clutch, $1700 for an ITR tranny, and the $400 for a JDM 4.785 final drive-or the $$$ for my Bogarts and M&H's. Oh yeah, the Hondata Stage 4..... countless dyno runs....I am going to stop now, I'm getting depressed

300 OEM bearings, OEM oil pump
225 Inspect, balance, bore, hone

190 P28, socket, chips
5175, not too bad, ive seen worse, i got about 12k into the entire car, front to back, top to bottom
another guy i know has about 40K into his car and has only ran 4/10ths faster than me plus his motor got fried in vegas. its a long trip home to washington after u fry ur motor on the first pass during qualifying, hehe.

I wonder if rip-offs really count as well? I've lost over $1500 just for rip-offs and scammers on my motor, (OLD tranny and Toda Spec B's)
All of the stuff below is brand new, except tranny, but looking into actualy money spent on it...
Block/head- $2000
JG header-$500
Si Tranny-$400
Toda Spec C's-$1100
Toda cam gears-$250
Toda Timing belt-$160

LOL damn someone had to come up with this post
1>19 civic Ef HB ..my first ..spent 2000 and pulled everything out when i tried to register it low and behold i was sold the remnants of a stolen car so i stripped it of clean parts and pushed it down the street
2>90 crx hf Built B-20 vtec cage ...all the goodies i didnt have on the other car and then some ..spent about 5k
3>my turboed 94 hatch...cost 14k ...real deal turbo setup thanks to Revhard ..and Bensons machine
4> same 94 civic hatch ..K-20 motor lots of goodies ...still more odds and ends to go ....7500 and counting
28,500 spent ....not deducting the car shell i sold or the motors and all the left over B-series parts up until the K-series ...id say im into import racing about 15k solid ...not to mention tools ...
