As of right now, NASA is pretty small around here. There was 1 car in HC last event and it was me .
I would almost try and up a class to ST but then i have to compete against E46 M3's with 315's all around and super good Aero lol.

Thanks for posting. I have a JDM b18c in my hatch and looking for a little extra power and I'm familiar with the GSC name from my DSM friends. Might look into getting some of these N1s. I like its just a drop in cam and go!
Thanks for sharing.

Alright, it seems as if there is some animosity on here from a few. To be honest, I used to be stationed in Charleston, SC where Greg at GSC started his business. I have personally been to his shop way back when and he is a professional and very knowledgeable guy. I have yet to see Greg put out any products that are anything less than respectable. From his early days in the DSM crowd to branching out, he has done quite well.
When it comes to anything Gringotegra puts out, I pay attention. His builds are nothing shy of remarkable and tailored to the average enthusiast. I appreciate you testing these cams as I am currently in the mist of an all motor build myself albeit I have a different setup I've concocted.
Lastly, if more people went through the trials and tribulations, you would realize this is no easy, cheap, or mundane task. Give a little credit where it is due. DDTech also gets some props here as well because he is another great contributor!

he listened what i had to say, and answered all my questions. honestly, with the proformance i got from his based camshafts, i may have to buy another model just the sample all the fuss on those. sounds like i have two of my friends switching from brian crower over to gsc.
so yesterday, i had a feeling a had a boost leak. so i had held it at half throttle, then the vtec lobe kicked in. i bout **** myself. it was definitely unexpected how hard it hit, and well it performed.

I've been toying around the idea of picking up the GSC N2 profile cams but the 91PSI seat pressure on GSC valvetrain worries me. Seems like it would induce more wear and frequent adjusting of valvetrain from beating the valve seats.

that was one of the things i said to him. he took a second to sigh, and then he told me that they dont remain at that seat pressure. once installed, and rotated they lower.
from my stand point if you have any interest in their product, its worth a phone call. may be a decision maker then and there. i called for just questions only, then from the thirty minute talk we had. i decided why not.
and as far the wear and tear, maybe myles would be so nice to do an uninstalled documented process in search for wear and tear. i think he has on the drag car already. im sure greg appriciate it seeing how close they are.

How once installed and rotated they are lower? If anyone could clear this up for me as to why. Last time I talked to them, I got nothing out of it. Very hush hush on the specs and I was just told "I hope you understand". All I asked was info about the primaries and secondaries.

it does make sense to me either, but i took his advise and word. since he knows more into it than myself. it actually would be nice if someone could clarify this.
and depending on when you talked to him when he was hush hush, i can somewhat understand him being like that. there was alot of gsc hatin going on.

I was glad to find this thread. I have a LS Vtec that is pretty stock at this point and was looking at the same upgrades as the OP. Intake mani, tri y header and the GSC cams. I am looking for about 180whp so the fact that you go there gives me hope.

not on the dyno until next monday the 12th. i think it will be irrelevant as im using these for a turbo application. just tryin to help promote gsc. and im also goin from b16a cams to gsc n1's, so you can prolly imagin me being geeked up over the different in cam performance.
i will post results though.

Re: GSC N1 Cam's tested on I/H/E GSR.
Custom changes studied by me, a shop did all the work.
My manifold is a GSR manifold with all the webbing cut out of the plenum section. With custom epoxy work for the transition into the butterfly's. Butterfly’s also back cut like a throttle body. The shop used a Skunk2 Pro as a benchmark. The Custom GSR manifold out flows it.
I am only running ITR cams at this time. But with my current set-up I am expecting to hit nearly 140 tq, and above 130 from 4000-8000.
No official dyno of my current set-up way to busy. Old set up with a Px manifold 190/136 (on dyno), new set up estimate, added 10-15% more fuel on street tune, 200/140.
