personally i like ls vtec but if your going to use the ctr pistons do not get a gsr head if u want to use pump gas! i almost made that mistake my compression would have been around 13

ls vtec all the way. Use your b16a pistons along with the vtec oil/water pumps. Make sure you use arp rod bolts and head studs. I have recently just built a ls vtec and the motor feels quite a bit stronger than my gsr (p30 pistons, portflow valvetrain, ctr camshafts) motor. I have yet to really rip on the motor as it only has 200 miles on it so far. The ls vtec def. has the torque the gsr/b16a lack down low.

I personally like b16s, but a del slow if a fat car. You are going to need the torque that ls can give you.

1.8 > 1.6 to me at least

I'd go with P30s/PR3s not the PCTs

I have a b16 and wish i had a lsvtec. The torque diffrence is pretty good. The b16 has none, and the 1.8l has some!!
