well if your doing a LS vtec then you use the LS block and b16 head... if i understand a LS VTEC correctly thats hows it done...so ls pistons

all b series are 81mm bore except b20. if youre going na use b16 psitons, ls pistons for boost

u can use any b-series except b20, the best in my opinoin are the ctr pistons found in a b16b, the yeild the highest compression.....i had a motor with compression something like 14:1 using ctr pistons(not oem) but with oem ctr piston u could expect something like 12:1 to 13:1+ depending on setup
