Default speed sensor install 2002 civic si

just found out yesterday that i have a bad speed sensor in my passenger side rear wheel. how hard is it to install? any info would help.

are you talkilng about the abs sensor ?? the speed sensor is usually screwed onto the transmission

sounds like the ABS sensor. You'll have to unplug the sensor wire from the plug. on the coupes its in the trunk, on the hatch.... maybe its in the hatch. Pull the carpet up behind the seat. if there's a silver cover, pry it up, should be in there.
On the back side of the hub there's a black disc about the size of a nickel, there's a screw on a flange holding it on and obviously the wire goes into it. Unscrew it and with a small flat head screwdriver, pry the old one out. Push the new one in, screw it down and plug it in.

thanks for that guys. yah it is the abs sensor >> i came to find out that this is a common part that goes bad. anyone else have this issue? the part cost me about 50 nuts. what makles them go?
