New clutch problem. gears grinding! please help.
Ok, so I just finished installing a new excedy clutch on my 02 type s. When the car is running its hard to put it in any gear especially reverse. But when cars off they go in fine. It is drivable, but gears are kind of crunchy. I already bleed it. Any ideas? Thank you!

You put the right transmission fluid back in didn't you?
For some reason, everytime I've had a master or slave cylinder fail on me, was when I took out the trans. So check those as well. Make sure there is not a leak. A clutch can't work for **** if the hydraulics have failed.

I didn't adjust the pedal, and its engaging almost as soon as I start to release the clutch. I used the acura mtf from the dealer, but ill try adjusting the pedal, and swapping out the slave today. But also now I have a check engine light:/ thanks guys for the tips!
