Welded letter Y on jdm itr block
Hello
I’m interested in a db8 itr, when looking any pictures of the block stamp, b18c starting 200….. I noticed that there is a letter “Y” welded 2-3 inches higher on the block. I swear in my younger years I saw a block with a similar marking but can’t remember what it means.
Could you please elaborate if anyone knows.
thank you.

Re: Welded letter Y on jdm itr block
I cannot help with your question, but if you have any questions about DB8 ITRs shoot me a PM.
Look out for rust behind rear bumper which will cause the DB8-specific bumper support to separate, license plate mount to rust away from the bumper. Also check floorboard junctions for rust. Ask me how I know haha!

Looks like it’s welded, I actually found itr swap selling on eBay right now that has the same marking. I think it could be a mark for a different factory that made a block, I don’t know if all blocks came from the same place or were made if different places.
