Do you have the Helms? I would say look in there; I would do it for you but I am at work and chained to my desk.

I've dropped an obd2 alternator into an obd1 car (and harness) and they both had 4 plugs. They were different styles/shapes, so I hacked an obd2 alternator plug off (and 2" of wires) of a stock d series harness and spliced it into the obd1 harness since the pins couldnt be moved over, I soldered the wires.
I dont understand the question if my reply doesnt help you

U guys are confusing me.. there are 3 pin(wire) and 4 pin(wire) alternators
my harness is set up for the 4 pin but i need to run a 3 pin alternator because of my supercharger pulley
I was told to put off the yellow/white wire and just wire up the other 3 wires!!
anyone know?

You won't be using the alternator control ouput from the ECU. I am not sure of the wire colors for your vehicle. Here is a good explanation of the alternator control circuit: http://www.smpcorp.com/download/view/Tt1Q98.PDF
