how to turn off the "srs" light.......pls help
just replace the usdm steering to a jdm "non-airbag" steering.....want to know how to make the "srs" light off......pls help.......

The easiest way is to pull out your instrument cluster and unplug the yellow plug out of the back.. As long as the air bag is not present the computer can't be reset.. If I remember correctly if the light is on the passenger's side bag will not deploy either.. Another option is to simply unplug the main harness from the SRS ecu located under the heater box in the front center dash... not exactly legal though in some states to do this i don't think...

If I remember correctly if the light is on the passenger's side bag will not deploy either.. never new that if the light was on the pass. airbag would not work...guess its time for a jdm block off tray

I've always been curious why everybody wants the jdm blockoff tray. They usdm cover fits right back on after removing the airbag...maybe it's the jdm bling virus & I just haven't been infected yet.
