Re: SRS Light wont go away (GreenEX)
It's going to stay on if you don't have an airbag in the car. Just pull the plug out of the back of the cluster (but your passenger airbag won't work either).

Put your stock steering wheel back on and reset it according to the instructions here on this site.

Not unless you want to do what I suggested to begin with. That SRS light is telling you that the OEM SRS equipment is missing. Unless you replace it there is no way to turn it off without pulling the plug/light (which I don't know how to do honestly).

Re: (jcarothers)
taking the bulb out is the easiest way of doing it
there's a device on the market that plugs into your original SRS plug and 'cheats' your car saying there's an airbag installed.. therefore turning off the light.. but i dont know where to get them.. i saw it on some tv show they use it to scam people when buying rebuilt used cars without putting a new airbag in..
hope it helps

bingo!
but yea, the best thing to do would be remove the light.. it only takes like 10min. 2min, if you know exactly what you're doing.

you say that like if you don't have an airbag, the steering wheel is going to jump out and whoop your ***. I think if I got in an accident with my car my face would miss the steering wheel anyway.

Yes...use a electric tape to cover up your SRS light on your cluster.
