Default greddy turbo kit

is anyone running this setup on a type r, i know the ls kit supposedly fits the best as opposed to the gsr with the bottleneck, with the ls kit can the e-manage be used? or tuned properly for a type r, or would it be best to upgrade to the e01 or aem ems? i want to run 6-8lbs...just want to hear some oponions and experiences with this setup good or bad..btw i did search..none of the posts really helped any..

thanks in advance

Most ITR owners run N/A man, you should try the F/I forum.

I recall seeing a post a long time ago about an ITR that had a greddy kit, but I don't have specifics.

If you do a search of my archived threads or Chris Fries, or Pete's threads, there's lots of info there.....

10psi daily driven!

And don't go with the greddy piggyback ems crap. Get hondata, uberdata, crome, or neptune. AEM EMS is also a good option.

imo turbo is too small unless you want very little hp and choking top end.. it should work for stock itr seeking mild hp setup... but you'll end up spending more money in the long run once you want more hp. also, external wastegate turbo setups can make more hp and more consistant boost.

Too small, not really its not the biggest but its bigger then an evo turbo, having full spool at around 3200 rpms is priceless and at about 11 psi u are droping about 270 WHP and that is with a gsr, with skunk2 intake, ctr cams, 2.5 inch dp, full a/c and ps... so its not too small, its a great kit for daily driver and it produces a lot more WHP then a JRSC

Good call i am using crome pro and it works great!
