I must have taken fifty or sixty pictures of your car at VIR. If you need any to verify condition other than the ones Creator sent you there could be a few; let me know. Hope you had no lasting ill effects from your accident.

wow! glad you are ok and sorry for your loss. my heart dropped when i saw the pics.
shells are for sale all the time. hope you swap the motor over and keep loving it.

i don't know if i could contain my rage if this happened to me. i would probably be arrested at the seen of the accident for beating the crap out of the guy who hit me. then after i got out of jail for that i would set his house on fire so he knew how i felt.

good luck to you.

He was looking in his rearview mirror.

Thanks for the help. I will let you know if I need them. I'm waiting to hear back from them at the moment.

dang I've had a couple near misses due to looking into rear view mirror.

That's not autocross, that's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HPDE ... in this case the car was run with http://www.trackdaze.com at VIR, and was hit on the way home.

People tape the lights (usually voluntarily but sometimes mandatory) for several reasons:

-to cut down on rock & debris chips/cracks, which are common

-to make it so the glass or plastic doesn't shatter everywhere if/when the above happens (the tape holds the surface together), it's nice to not cause a flat tire for a fellow participant

Well, I've decided to buy back the car. It is for sale as a whole and as-is right now. Please see https://honda-tech.com/forums/showpo...8&postcount=19 if you are interested.

I would have done something like that but time, space and other priorities led me to letting someone else go through all of that.
