I have a 1999 Integra GS. It has the b18b1. I have DIY Icebox style intake, Delta 272 regrind cams, replica Hytech tri-y header, cat delete, 60mm mandrel bent catback and a 12lb flywheel. It was street tuned by Vick at V-Spec Tuning.

I am thinking about getting the Skunk2 Pro Series Intake Manifold. I'm not really into top end power. I dont race much, and just want more pull for daily driving.

Will I get favorable gains with the above setup?

Some ppl will tell you it sucks for low end DD and in a way they may be right....I got all my parts at once so I can't really judge on it(bolt ons +tuner 2 cams in a GSR). since you say you have cams i'd say go for it you probably won\t notice it.

Go in the all motor section and look at the non vtec build and see what works. Personally I wouldn't use the skunk 2 manifold the design is more for 8500 to 9k

Personally i wouldnt have build a non vtec motor, outside of boost. Halfaknee covered my thoughts in his statement so ill just second his post about the manifold. Built for top end gains. Longer runners are for low/mid range a la stock ls manifold and gsr manifold prior to butterfly opening (dual runner manifold, also employed in other vehicles).

Well I wanted the skunk2 pro series. It is the one they advertise for midrange and topend gains. Ads say runners are longer than stock.

I'm already committed to this engine, so I need advice on this build not a gsr.

Has anyone used a skunk2 pro series on a ls build similar to mine?

Go with an edlebrock performer x manifold. Its desogned with a band between 4000-8000rpm so it should do just fine on your engine.

Look into it, but dont get the victor x by mistake, and make sure its for the b18a1/b1

they only make the performer X for the b16, gsr and type r heads.*

Would it be worth getting a performer x and redrilling holes to fit my ls or is it better to get a Blox/S2 specifically made for a ls?

keep stock unless you are going turbo IMO

So what youre saying is you already wasted money on this build, why not go the distance? I understand. And i did not give you advice on a gsr build but if you dont think it important to understand the purpose behind design and references that support it then i dont know what we're talking about. But im an advocate of learn by doing so go right ahead. Sounds like you want someone to just say 'yes you'll get good gains'. Well, go for it dude. I'm sure youll see some gains somewhere. Post up when you tune. Id like to see the results of your build. If you tuned previously, id be curious to see the dyno chart for what you have now.
