Heavily street-tuned B20VTEC engine - need some advice
Hey people
I'm helping a friend build a B20VTEC EG6. It'll be running with ~12.6:1 C/R, and have a fully worked head. Will be revved high when used for racing - bottom end has been worked on and is ok for 8.5-9k redline (it's a daily driven street car).
My original plan was for him to go with ordinary Skunk2 Stage 2 cams, and Skunk2 intake manifold, however, after a little research, I've noticed that there's a lot of other newer products on the market now, like intake manifolds from Blox and Edelbrock, as well as new cams from Buddy Club, Rocket Motorsports, and the Skunk2 Pro series.
Can anyone help me lead my friend into the right direction? What would work real well with the setup i've briefly described? Which cams + intake manifold?
Also, which intake manifold has the largest plennum? We have a 70mm throttle body which we would like to bolt onto the manifold..
Thanks

buddy club 4's either that or Jun 3's - those are the cams that i have known to make the most power
for my *mild* b20/vtec i'll eventually be running buddy club 3+'s when i can afford 'em

im not sure about the cams, since i run crower 63403's and put down 226 untuned but i know that there are better cams out there since the crowers are kinda small with not alot of overlap. for anything 2.0liter and up the edelbrock victor x manifold seems to make the best power.
donF has done extensive cam testing along with Tbone either they can give a suggestion or you can do a search.
