Trouble starting 90-93 integra
My 93 gsr is starting to have a weird problem, some days the car does now want to start. The car when you try to turn it on clicks from the relays behind the dash. They are both located behind the radio of the car, im pretty sure one is the starter relay. Eventually it will turn on but it is becoming worse as the time goes on, im just trying to determine if it is a bad relay or if this is a common problem with a 90-93 teg?
thanks

Re: (scheistermeister)
I am well aware its a starter problem.....
the problem is with the relays, im just wondering if there is a known problem with the wires corroding or anything. If the gound is known for corroding, then I know I don't need a relay.

I don't know of a "known" problem with the starter relays. There is a common problem with the ignition harness (runs from key cylinder to fuse box.) that normally goes bad.
Normally if it just clicks, and doesn't turn over, the starter is bad.

Re: (boostedDA)
I have that same problem on my DA. A friend of mine had the same problem on his DA. He replaced the starter and it fixed the problem. I think it is the starter solenoid that fails. You'd only expect that to happen on a 16 year old car. Mine is original starter with 222,000 miles on it. I'm replacing mine as soon as I get my tax return money.
