Default engine starting problems!

im having a weird problem, sometimes when i try starting my car it doesn't fire up. I turn the key to start it and i have to push the clutch in and then release and in again for a few times and all i hear is a click when i push in the cluth but it doesn't start. Then i can hear something in the bay wanting to crank but it doesn't until i play with it quite a few times then it cranks and it fires up.

Is it the starter?

its not loss of battery juice because everything else works fine such as lights, radio, etc.

thanks...

It probably is your starter, had the same problem and replaced my starter, haven't had any problems. Try checking your spark plug wires
