Default oil leak questions

hey i recently bought a da and theres oil by the stamp where it says the type of engine for example b18a1 stamped on. theres no oil by the head or valve cover so if i could get some ideas.

i really dont have cash to get a new head gasket if thats the problem so anything helps thanks.

ohh and the car does smoke white a very little bit but it only has straight pipe back no muffler so that might be the reason and its only doing it in the morning or if its been sitting for a while. after 5 mins of driving i can turn it off and turn it back on and it wont have smoke

your cam seal may be leaking, when those leak they drip oil down past the stamp on the block, good spot to start

Thats leaking external. If you are burning oil it would be internal.

it probably smokes in the morning cause its cold out? as for the oil try degreasing the motor and if oil turns back up youll know you obviously have a leak
