Re: NO OIL PRESSURE! GSR PLEASE HELP
Not dynoed yet. Gonna give revline a call today to check out the price and get a time set up. Super excited. I know it's not much of a power maker but it's my first real build that I did myself.(not much of a build but a rebuild and some bolt ons.
Lol at the off topic post. No problem. Got a good laugh

White smoke is usually water. Are you losing coolant with no obvious leaks? You could have a very small HG leak that may not effect power that much. There is also a test you can do to detect combustion leakage in the coolant. Here's the kit on Amazon:

Did you Deck the block????
Just did the HG in my 90 teg with GSR and didn't deck the block and started to get white smoke when the engine was warm after 950 miles on it.
turned out i had a low spot on the #4 cylender wall .008 below the deck and it started leaking after the HG sealant burned off.

I did not have the block decked. I did check the block with a straight edge and got noithing out of spec. I dont even think I could stick my .005 feeler through anywhere.
had the head milled too.
Cometic gasket(might be my problem)
apr head studs(should I retorque these after rebuild at any time??)
not even 200 miles yet since the rebuild

Forgot to mention that I am for sure that the smoke appears more if it has been hot outside. I would think I would be worse overnight(because of time) but no its the best in the morning. hardly any smoke at all. worse during the day when it has been hot.
