Re: How much power? (B16OnTop)
Id say turbo over supercharger BY FAR for a B18B1... a nice turbo kit will be alot more benificial then a JRSC.... trust me, i own a B18B1 and i have researched alot of different possiblities for it. Either go turbo or nitrous

how does this pretain to the subject at hand? i knew there would be some dumbass who just read "jrsc" and would then spout out about how turbos are super awesome. is this a comparison between superchargers and turbochargers? NO. im really gettin pissed off with these off topic posts. i didnt even mention me getting ANY form of forced induction, but i still get the "defenders of turbodom" yappin at me. i asked about a JACKSON RACING SUPERCHARGER, which wasnt a TURBOCHARGER the last time i checked. this isnt a flame, its mainly an angry rant, but please try to stay on topic next time.

well figure the b18b puts out around 122 hp to the wheels on most stock. with the jrsc your going to put down around 160-165hp to the wheels and 140ft/lbs of tq to the wheels...if you disagree check jackson racings dyno charts on their site. this clearly is not a 40% power increase. jackson racing averages at around 40% power increase on most of their cars...the b18b just so happening to be the one that it doesnt quite put out alot of power.
EDIT: the dyno charts provided on the site are more then likely untuned and with a 6psi pulley.

could also be the m45 instead of the m62 blower; and thats why im looking for a gsr jrsc and modifying it for my ls.
