HELP: Door Locks won't Unlock...
Here is the problem... I went to the car, hit the unlock button on the viper and the damn doors did not unlock, but the trunk did. Neither the driver or passenger door unlocked. I find it hard to believe that it is mechanical because both sides do not work. Electrical doesn't make too much sense either; when I try to unlock (disarm) the doors, the locks twitch, like they are trying but are jamed. Using the PDL switches has the same effect. But if the car is unlocked, and I try to lock it, it works fine... Any ideas?

Re: HELP: Door Locks won't Unlock... (Finger Lickin' good)
I had the same problem in my car when i took the door panel off. For some reason i didn't put it back perfectly or there was just too much friction in the system for the power door lock to unlock the door... it would try too but it could never unlock the door. So what i traced the problem to the manual locking switch (the actual plastic lock, not the electrical switch) So I took my door off and removed the linkage that connected the plastic locking switch to the door lock. So now i don't have the manual lock, but what's the point? I have electric door locks right next to it anyway. so now my alarm locks and unlocks my door again.
