All 2 Door integras are condsidered Sports Cars, but the GSR and Type R are put on higher rating factors.

4 Door does not = Family car. Example: 5 Series BMW is a sports car.

Insurance companies are not stupid. They do know that people that drive Integra LS (2 or 4 doors) are more ept to driving faster than people that drive a Saturn 2 or 4 door. They both have about the same HP.

SHOP AROUND for insurance. My insurance dropped like 500/year by switching to Farmers from Allstate.

Yea, STI=4door

Also I THINK ALL Acura's are classified as "luxury" cars.
My insurance is 50$ a month if I broke it down...

Its not a sports car, but it is a sports coupe, but all Integras are sports coupes. It just happens to be one of the most stolen cars in America, which is what the insurance companies love to charge us for.

Yes, but mine also considered any 2 door Integra a sports car. LS, RS, GS, etc. All of them were the same price under my insurance.

nowhere i searched ever called them "sports cars" mustangs, 350z's,TA's, THEY'RE sports cars. and gsr and itr rates will be more than a ls,gs,rs, BECAUSE of the motor and rated hp. insurance's around the country might list them different BUT it doesnt mean they are true sports cars.they are "sporty" economic cars.
