Most of those products come with instructions. It is self explanatory on a teg. Honestly if you need a lot of help doing it, you migh want to go to a shop or have an experienced friend help you.
I have NO experience and I raised the car up and took off the header and exhaust. Took me about 4 hours but I did it. It is not hard. Just helps to have a lot of tools, no time limit, and an extra set of hands.....small hands

It all depends, how much do you want to spend? What are your goals with the car?
If you want it to be low cost, and maybe add 10hp total, just get a used bolt-on exhaust (Greddy, Apex, RSR, etc) for about $300-400, a header (DC 4-2-1 or 4-1, Greddy, Comptech, etc) for $300, and either get a cold air intake or short ram intake for around $100, or just get the old ebay piping and a k&n for about $50. This will enable you to pass smog in CA and pick up a little bit of performance - but not much.
If you are more ambitious, you may want to save to go turbo, or plan your setup very carefully by figuring out the best custom exhaust, header, etc for your goals. Good custom headers are Bisimoto, AN-R, etc. Custom exhaust systems can be made by kteller8 or SMSP, or a muffler shop in your area.
As for a skunk2 intake manifold, do that after you have done I/H/E and cams. If you throw it on now, you won't notice a performance difference, and may actually lose hp.
