i have a 96 gsr failed 3 times because of an OBD fault code PO325 knock sensor1 ckt malfunction. i've changed the knock sensor and disconnected the battery to reset the ecu went back the second time and still failed the guy told me i might need to delete it out of the ecu. so i went to a friend of a friends shop and he plugged it up to the computer and deleted the whole memory including the code that caused me to fail. went back to smog a week later failed same reason. today i was checking the wiring and following from the green knock sensor plug about 3 inches back i found another grey plug just hanging looks exactly like the green plug im GUESSING that this might be why i am failing i plugged it into the knock sensor just to see if anything would go wrong but nothing. wondering if anyone can help me out with this i always thought the green one was the correct plug ANY HELP PLEASE!
