Icon2 Cooling Issues - thoughts?

94 Integra LS Auto. Just replaced the radiator last week due to a leak, went to bleed the system and noticed my cooling fan wasn't kicking on. I just replaced the fan last year and hoping that it's not failing already. Parts (OEM) that I've ordered that are coming today: relay for the cooling fan, thermostat, coolant temp sensor. I did not order the temp. switch near the thermostat housing because I was running out of money. Even if the fan doesn't come on and the system is bled, the temperature shouldn't shoot up too quickly should it? Any opinions on diagnosing this overheating problem if replacing the thermostat, coolant temp sensor, and relay doesn't work?

Have you tried to jump fan switch on the thermostat housing? If it turns on the fan motor is still good, but the fan switch is bad, if not then fan motor is gone.

Like just running 12 volts straight to the switch?

YEah it somewhat like that, but you just get a piece of wire and plug it in to the fan switch plug.

Alright. I know I'm slow with working on my car. Ran 12 volts to the fan and it does work. Replaced the radiator, coolant temp sensor, cooling fan relay, and thermostat. Does anyone know what else is responsible for making the fan kick on? There's a "SWITCH ASSY., THERMO (A-93) (UCHIYA)" part # 37760-P00-004 that I did not order. Can anyone confirm what this does? Also there is a radiator fan control module. I have no idea what the part number is for it but it's behind the dash on the right side of the heater assembly.

Si, thus the replacement of all the parts listed. The fan operates fine, just trying to figure out why it's not turning on by itself? Debating on operating it with a toggle switch if I can't figure out what's wrong.

Check the condenser fan fuse, if that's blown, the fan won't kick on. At least it didn't in my car.
Also, change that radiator fan switch on the thermostat housing.

Much appreciated. Checking the fuse today, the switch will take a few days to get in.

Resolution. The fan finally kicked on after about 25 minutes of my car running. I was told it should kick on after about 10 minutes, I had never waited that long, but for some reason decided to wait longer. I thought normal "operating" temperature would be reached after 10 or so minutes. No more cooling problems for now
