Check engine code 41 nightmare...
So since I got my car the cel has been on which is about a month now. I finally got around to buying a new sensor.and after my mechanic installed it the check engine light still stays on.on his handheld unit that plugs into my car the oxygen level does not fluctuate and it says 02 heater off.he then pulled up the wiring diagram and traced all wires. and it appears that somebody had this issue before because there was a couple spliced wires for a new ground and another splice for the 12 volts. so first he returned all wires back to stock and then retraced all the wires looking for shorts cuts or any other problems.we made sore that the sensor was good.so what we came up with is this the computer is sending 12 volts to the sensor but on his diagnostic computer that is communicating with my ecu it says that it is only sending 3 volts. So my computer is sending the 12volts but is telling the hand held that's there is only 3 volts and again the oxygen level does not fluctuate when you rev the engine what do you guys think I'm open to all ideas please help thank you.

What ECU are you using. If all the wires are correctly routed to their corresponding ECU locations (some are dedicated circuits, that is they go from the sensor to that ECU location, some are shared locations like ground and power) then I'd try another ECU to see if it follows.

I'm using my stock ecu and my mechanic thinks that the ecu maybe bad. I don't know anyone with the same car as me around here so I just have to buy one and there alot.
