Car stalls/dies at a stop

Car stalls/dies at a stop
Doesn't happen all the time but it has happened about twice in 2 days. And when I try to start it up it struggles to get going. No ticking sound so it cannot be the starter or ignition switch. I have read around a bit and see that it might be the main relay or even the distributor. Any other suggestions or experiences with this? Thanks!

to accurately diagnose, you'll need to install a fuel pressure gauge and have it mounted somewhere you can see while driving. if fuel drops before it dies, you can start looking towards a fueling issue. if after, likely ignition

Get more information. What RPM does the engine normally idle at? When it stalls what is the coolant temp? Fuel pressure? Describe the situation with as much detail as possible.

Yep its not the fuel pump it all works. It is just it struggles to start like its "on" but it doesn't stay on. My idle is on point at 600. Coolant temp is normal and as for fuel pressure I don't have the a gauge to test that. Although I did talk to a good mechanic of mine and he said it is most likely the main relay when I explained my situation.

a fuel pressure gauge is like 1/4 the price of a main relay. pumps do wear. it may not be flowing enough fuel. having a fuel pressure gauge permanently installed never hurts. even if it doesn't turn out to be the problem now, it's great for future diagnosis.
get the gauge on there and i'll run you through some excellent pressure and flow verification tests. you just may learn some cool techniques
