The Simple things buddy.
-check your oil or just change it and the filter
-coolant level/color
-tires (pressure and wear). Check the spare as well.
-if you are feeling up to it, the fuel filter and air filter.
-Check your wiper blades and or change them.
-Check all lights (more or less giving a cop fewer reasons to pull you over....more of a hassle than anything)
-Brakes. Shouldnt really have to because well, you drive it everyday right?
Anything else you can think of. Grab an extra jug of coolant and maybe more water, some extra oil. Maybe bring a small tool kit. (never know)
Good luck and drive safe!

Wheel alignment
Fix any issues like cels, worn suspension parts, crappy tires, etc
Bring all your tools
Extra screws,bolts,hoses etc
Extra bulbs,wire,tape,flashlight
A few pillows
No-doz caffeine tablets
Ipod or cds
Munchies,snacks,fruits
Few rolls of napkins
Drinks,water
Few bottles of flat-fix
Just think of all the things u may need or want along the way
Say a prayer before u take off and you're good to go
Best of luck on your trip
