Default Anti-Theft in an Integra?

What year did acura starting putting anti-theft in their integra, i dont know exactly what its called my friend told me its in the key or something but i want to know what year did they start doing this to the integra because i want to do a swap but i dont want it to effect the swap with having the bypass theft and everything else

The anti-theft is a communication between the ECU and the ignition switch (the same unit with the lock cylinder). Any modification that requires a new ECU would require a new ignition switch, I imagine.

Correct. The anti-theft took the form of an immobilizer, not an alarm.
