Default ac not working

ok my ac was working fine untill the compressor trun off and wouldnt kick back on. I thought it was old freon so i leak all the freon out and was gonna recharge it. so i tryed to recharge it and it wouldnt take any freon at all. what could it be ?

check fuses, man i hate to be abrupt but i dont' think i even know anyone with a honda with a/c anymore, its kinda funny actually, thats why your pretty thin on replys...

check ur fuse's if that dont turn up anything id be willing to bet ur compressor is blown. And if that blew u mite as well rip ur a/c out cause replacing a compressor is expensive

lol they run up to 265 i think at vatozone men this sucks summer is coming up to i better start putting overtime hrs.

Mine did the same thing.. Its not getting signal to the compressor to TURN ON!

So what i did was run a 12 volt source to the plug on the compressor to see if it engauged the clutch.. Thats how I found out that it still works, its just a missing link from the switch to the compressor.

Many A/C systems have a low-pressure cutout switch that prevents the compressor clutch from engaging if system pressure (the refrigerant charge) is too low.

i already try to add freon but it wouldnt take it at all.

yes autozone sels a/c compressors for 285 but u also need to replace a few parts and flush the system or ull void ur warrenty not to mention potentaly shorten the life of ur new compressor. check ur signal wire to make sure ur getting a signal.

mine just started doing the same thing. Did you find out what the problem was? I wired it to the battery and the compressor kicks in.
