Default *****Car turns off by pushing gas to hard*****

this car has been running fine for awhile now, since 2 days ago it started acting funny.
when i step on the gas slowly and rev it up it goes fine. but when i step on the gas a little firm it cuts off and dies if the rpm is to low. whats the problem here? could it be a faulty fuel pump?

First thing I would check is the fuel pressure.

I would also check the ECT sensor and the TPS. 94

ect is on the distributor side of the motor. Kind of near where the head meets the block and somewhat in the middle. Sorry for the lack luster description.
