Default Problem with starting car

I have a 1998 integra GSR. Im wondering if anyone else has this problem. Whenever i am low on fuel( near Empty ) It takes longer then usual to start the engine. With a full tank there seems to be no problems. Is it the gas cap seals deteriorating?

Im thinking there is lack of pressure in the gas tank, but im not sure.

Does anyone have this problem as well?

Try putting a better fuel pump and a pressure regulator it might work. That's common for a car to do that especially when the fuel tank is really low.

So i went to the dealer and asked the service department--which wasn't helpful at all.

But they concluded it can't be the gas cap or else i would be throwing a code. And it's not the fuel pump.

=/ anyone else have a suggestion.

Is it maybe because the fuel pump is at the top of your gas tank? And then when the fuel is low it takes longer to suck it up from the bottom and send it to your engine. A remedy? Just keep your gas tank from getting that low in the first place.

Yeah i think thats the only way i can figure as of now. Or i just prime the car for a bit, then start the car.
