SRS warning light on
I recently refitted the standard steering wheel after running a Momo for the last year. Since then the SRS airbag warning light on the dash is on permanently. It was on all the time with the Momo as I was told would happen but why now ? Is there a reset that you know of? Any help please. Peace, english-seth
Geez do a search.
The light is gonna be on as long as there is no SRS unit installed unless you do something to make it go out. IIRC you can install a 2.2 ohm resistor in your SRS harness to get rid of the light and you will need to reset your SRS comp.

Geez, READ MY POST. The standard wheel is now back on NOT the Momo and the light is still on the airbag unit is fitted. Peace english-seth
Geez STFU you still coulda found it through search and I still answered your question, the SRS comp must be reset.

Would any 2.2 ohm resistor work? Which way should it go and have you tried it before?

excellent diagram. worked for me everytime, only for the light to come back on. Honda has extended the warranty on this issue to 10 years or 100k. I had to call America Honda Motors since it is no posted on myhondalink.com. I took my accord 2001 and it was the seatbelt sensor that is causing the srs light to stay on. I am waiting for the part (color of my interior) to come in. Now the darn hand brake light is on. If I shake the hand brake, sometimes it comes off and then on... I am having the sensor replaced for the SRS light on Monday and the brake light checked, will post results.
