b18c obd1 skunk2 manifold, no cat, no evap, no iab. Runs fine without a/c, with a/c on when driving as soon as you depress the clutch most of the time car will shut off right away, if not rpm will drop very low then sputter back up. Adjusted idle screw up bout 500 rpms doesnt help. Am i missing something here?

 

How much vacuum are you pulling at idle?

raise your idle to like 750-800

 

my v-afc says -550mmhg

 

idle already is at 750

 

I believe your problem is your IAC Valve, I have recently just did the skunk2 install myself, and I am having problems when the AC is on too. now I get a check engine light Code 14 that says IAC Valve.

Hope someone knows the answer.

BTW, did you have to extend the two wires for the iacv connector? yellow black, black blue? for some reason my was super short and wouldn't reach.

i did extend the wires cutting the iac wire off another harness, but i dont get a code 14, from time to time i get a code 1 (oxygen sensor) used plenty of o2 sensors so i dont know. I've been thinking IAC because sometimes the idle would fluctuate up and down but i wasnt sure if it was the IAC causing the car to shut off with A/C on.
