Whats ur purpose? I had a Odyssey dry cell facing down to clear my intake for the turbo. OR, you can store it in the crx storage behind the seats and run the wires.

Ok, so thats how it sat with the battery installed. The lower piece holding the battery was just a 90 degree corner piece of aluminum. It had enought of an edge to hold each side of the battery (side and bottom) snugly. Looked kinda like this:

One hole was drilled on the bottom part of the bracket on each side and the stock battery hold down rods were used to go through the holes (straight ends through the bottom with 2 nuts to hold it in place). The angeled top parts supprisingly fit into 2 holes in the chassie that were already there. This kind of shows the rods / bracket.

For the top piece I just had a sheet of aluminum and cut out a bit, drilled a hole in the piece where there was an existing bolt hole in the chassie and stuck it on to hold the battery down. This pic shows that good.

As you can tell a baker battery was used. I cut some cut some 4 gauge wire to fit the lengths I needed. Used pieces of aluminum I found laying around the garage, check with your parents / wife / roommate to make sure the stuff isnt important before you cut it up and use it.

I would have taken more pictures if I would have known so many people would be interested... let me know if you have any questions about it and I'll answer the best I can. I sold the car awhile back so I cant get anymore pictues for you guys.

If you gonna ever run at the track and they are stricted with the rules, I would follow some of the nhra rules.

Battery may be located in a sealed .024 inch steel, .032 inch aluminum or NHRA approved box. Box may not be used to secure battery and must be vented outside. Relocated battery must be fastened to the frame.

Just a little info if your gonna run at the track.
