PLEASE look/help!! I've been searching for a half hour! Registration ?....
Already tried in General discussion forum and didn't get much. I know there was a big thread on this awhile ago but I have had NO luck finding it. I need to know what it takes to get a AZ car( H22 Civic) registered in CA. Any info/links would more that appreciated.
THANKS in advance!

i'm pretty sure you just have to get it smoged (as in bar'ed because of the h22). besides that just go get it weighed at a truck stop and keep the print out. they had me do that when i brought a truck from florida.
I did a huge long thread recently. Too Lazy to find it again.
This is what you need in order to have a H22 civic Legalized in California:
The process is called BAR'ing the car (BAR = Bureau of Automotive Repair) in other words the State Referee.
-Motor must be same year or newer than the car
-must have all USDM smog equip hooked up correctly from a USDM prelude
-USDM P13 ecu
-Stock timing and the engine bay must be like a prelude with all USDM parts
-if OBD2 you must have a stock Honda OBD2 cat
-if OBD1 you must have a CAARB approved OBD1 cat
-Any aftermarket part must be CAARB approved with the label (i.e. DC Header, AEM Intake, Magnaflow exhaust, etc...)
-YOU MAY NOT HAVE: fpr, vafc, adjustable cam gears or anything that adjusts hoe the engine performs
YOU MAY have a JDM Motor as long as all the USDM smog equip is there with a USDM ecu.
GOOD LUCK
