Default intercooler sprayed flat black bad?

hey guys i finally got my front mount on the civic si. looks really nice can't see the end tanks or piping. i would like to spray paint the IC flat black. is there any loss or gains from doin this? is it a bad idea? or a good? i really want that sleeper look. people see the shiny front mount they won't leave me alone. i just don't want thousands questions any time i stop..

haha no to what? he asked many questions there. my friend spray painted his IC black and he has no problems. dont put a thick coat on

i had my end tanks spary back... so the middle looks/match up with the bumper girill.. n it throws pplz off as a rad.. hehehe
