Need to know ASAP!
Since all alarms can be bypassed,
would it be better to get an average viper or compustar alarm for a 100 or 200 dollars or get the top of the line 791 or 3.5 pager system for like 4-6 hundred. I'll have layering like the backup siren, kill switch, the club and autolock. but still curious if its worth it to pay that much for the big alarm systems.
What would be the difference in getting these alarms as long as its from DEI.

i assume you have an auto integra? because 791 and 3.5 both have remote start systems which are only for automatic transmissions only.
The Matrix 2.5 or the viper 690xv are the same products with exception that one is called "Clifford" and the other one is called "Viper" the Cliffords have a carbon fiber remote look whereas the viper a blue remote. Either one could be had for $300 or so.
Then add a Clifford Black jack anti jack too
I think this is a must

You dont' have to have an automatic but no where will install it if you have a 5spd. My friend installed a automatic start on his 4dr gsr.
personally i wouldn't use it but he loves it

tats not true! U leave the gear in neutral, then the remote start can work. It is true tat all alarm system can be broken into, so yea but not sure on all systems. i have the viper alarm on my teg and starter kill , i got my teg broken into 2 time and the shop said bc of my starter kill they couldnt take it. also i have the club and set it to the shifter and E brake just to show tat it would take a lil more time to deal wit. U can also shave the lock switch down so the ppl how try to break in can't get in thur yur window and try to unlock the switch. The starter kill is only a lil more then the standard alarm kit but i think its worth it for a cheap costin alarm system. REMOTE START WORKS ON MANUEL TRANS, JUST LEAVE THE GEAR IN NEUTRAL!!!!!!!
wait, i dont get it, so this thing has a bypass for having to press the clutch in??? bc on every car ive ever had, theyve all been 5spds and ive had to depress the clutch in order to start them...thats one fancy system if it does do what youre saying it does
i have a autopage brand alarm but my little remote with the screen but it got wet on a rainy day any body know when i can buy just the remote i think the model is 750 autopage
also i have the autolock the red one thats said proff of bullets
what will be good to at to secure your teg???

I have a compustar SS on my GSR and I tell you its a damn good alarm with good range. The autostart is also a great feature which you have to go through a process when exiting the car, mainly you have to be in neutral with the E-Brake on. Also this system doesn't "bypass your clutch" it only does that when your auto starting. For example I can't start the car with out hitting the clutch if I was using the key.
i stand corrected
black jax is another layer developed by Clifford. There are other ones out there as well. If you've seen the movie "The Transporter", it's kinda the same way.
You can drive the car for a while, maybe 1 min or two. but then the system will ask you for your code. no code? then the car will eventually scream the siren and then die.
-aoib0t, who thinks that's cool
