Default bored, pics of my diy earthing sys

connections:

1. tb 2. vtec 3. tranny 4. manifold 5. distributor 6. head 7. fuel rail.

parts:
8 gauge monster cable, gold plated terminal, soldered and heat shrinked.

cost:
25 bux

result:
better throttle response, lights don't dim at idle, better start ups, smoother idle.

butt dyno:
1-2whp haha

notes:
don't waste your money buying brand name earthing systems when you can make them in a hour for $25

Nice. Where did you get the terminals for the end of the cable? The stuff at Radio Shack sucks.

Thank you for soldering + heat shrinking. Every car I touch with DIY grounds made out of the cable you used suck *** and fall apart at the crimp.

Personally, I remove the factory ground straps from vehicles at the local wrecker's and tucked two extra each to engine and chassis.

Cosmetically, you might want to go with a ground distribution block away from the battery terminal, to avoid that octopus effect. If it were my car, I'd do things like you have and leave it that way, but when touching other's you have to do the cosmetics...
