Default Do factory oil pans have an oil return?

Ok so I bought a Y8 bottom end with no pistons and no rods that was bored .20 over already. This was a little bit ago and I can't remember if the guy was about to go turbo or did go turbo...either way I think he said he blew a head gasket or spun a bearing.

Well I am in the process of building it up for turbo have all the parts and in the process of taking the crank out and getting it checked and cleaning it up a bit. So I was like ok might as well clean the oil pan up and have it tapped while I'm at it.

So I get out there cleaning and see what I asume is a factory oil return line...so I'm like why can't I tap into this? Then I think wait....do they have factory return lines? I don't think so but figured I would go ahead and ask you guys just to be cetain. Here are some pics. Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah one other question...anyone know a way to for me to check to see what size rod and main bearings I need without taking it to a machine shop? They want $35 just to tell me.

that doesnt look factory at all, but i could be wrong. Also, just pay the 35 bucks to have them tell you and then u dont have to worry about it. If not, then u have to buy a caliper and measure it ur self.

theres not a single Honda car yet that has come with a return line for oil from a turbo

that block was used on a turbo car

if he did spun a bearing , u will have to take the crank to a machine shop and have them presicely measure it........ the wrong measurements can blow ur new motor...
the crank can be damaged if it spun a bearing, so maybe u will need to resurface it and have bearings fit it..

Thats the only boosted OEM Honda engine I know of.
