yes it is reversable. you can get a socket installed so you can plug your stock or "mugen" chip in and out. seek professional help to get it installed, not a first timer job, you can mess up the ecu board
pros: a socketed ecu can run hondata, uberdata, crome etc, that way you can really tune your car, or safely run a turbo
You will see some improvements with the ebay chip in power. and you can disable sensors etc..
Cons: your gas milage will suck, and the ebay chip isn't tunable obviously.

If it's for the '93 LX in your sig, you need to know MUGEN has never made any programming for the USDM D15B7 engine. At best it is a hack of some bootleg software. If it is anything like any of the "Mugen" programs I have (7 at this time, 5 of which are crap bootlegs) you will be running with about 20% too much fuel in the upper RPM range of the fuel map.
Socket your ECU yourself, or have it done, then tune it properly. See http://www.pgmfi.org

</TD></TR></TABLE>Well said, Realize ebay never really has the Original Mugen parts. Mugen chips arent available for sale, you need to buy the entire ecu.
But follow what this guy is saying and get it socketed.
