if you have a integra LS like it says in your sig i doubt this mugen chip will work right for you. mugen only makes stuff for the VTEC engine.........
for 20 bucks you can guarentee it's not an original mugen chip. it's probably a copy which is still ok as long as it works.
those chips do not just "plug" into the stock ECU. they need to be solderd onto the circut board of the ECU.......take it to someone who knows how to do that...
good luck.

well who knows chips are usually done for your individual car you how ever did not buy a "mugen" chip. Mygen doesnt make chips they make whole ecu boxes. Some people will copy the program and claim that its jugen but in fact it's not, i honestly would have put 20 dollars towards an intake or something, i wouldnt waste money on installing it either
My friend has a JDM SiR CRX (PWO ECU)and he fitted a 'Feels' program chip bought of ebay and the difference in before and after is truely unbelievable, i drove the car on the same stretch of road before and after the chip was fitted (same day) and noticed a huge difference especially mid-high end, the car pulled so strong top end in the rev range in 4th and 5th gear whereas before the chip was fitted it was just adequate at higher revs. The vtec before came in at 5000rpm and now comes in at 4400rpm and it really kicks hard when it engages. The downside is the his gas/mpg has taken a severe kicking

Basically, you shouldn't use it, for a couple of reasons.
#1: Makes you run pig rich.
#2: Designed for a race car. As such, it disables all unneccesary sensors and ignores most check engine lights.

chip programming isnt as simple as it sounds. there should be a different chip for each application, based on modifications and driving style. the only real way to have a chip work best for your vehicle is buy the chip burner/programmer (www.batronix.com has cheap ones) and edit you eprom code to suit your car and dyno each chip...tuning takes time...i.e. a cam, a header, an exhaust system, intake, they will all change the way the car drives and how much fuel is needed and ignition timing correction...so you have a chip on a stock car and add a header, it could possibly decrease preformance. there is an entire cult to the decoding of honda ecus and chip programming...http://pgmfi.crx-forum.org/
